Pollen Puff

Meet Puff, a handsome and delightfully fluffy 4-year-old Siberian Husky currently being fostered in Vancouver, WA! If you are looking for the perfect blend of classic Husky adventure and an amazingly polite indoor companion, Puff is your boy.

Puff is fully house-trained, well-mannered, and ready to find his forever family. Here is what makes this special boy so wonderful:

Perfect House Manners

Unlike the typical high-energy Husky stereotype, Puff is very calm in the house. He is a gentle soul who respects your space and your things—he never touches items that aren't given to him. He doesn't bolt out of open doors and is content to just hang out and wait patiently. When he wants to relax, he loves to chew on a treat while working on his crate training, go to his "place" on his cot, or just wander and nap on the floor near his people.

A Brilliant Mind & Fun Tricks

Puff is incredibly smart, loves food, and thrives on mental stimulation! He absolutely loves dog puzzles, games, and learning new things. He already knows an impressive list of cues, including:

• Sit, Down, and Wait

• "Place" (goes directly to his cot)

• Give Paw

• Catching treats out of the air

• Standing on his back legs and doing a "side circle" into a sit

Social & Affectionate

Puff is a true people-lover. He is dog-friendly, enjoys meeting new pups, and is very social with human strangers. He has even done wonderfully with children, gently giving them his paw in exchange for a treat!

While he is independent enough not to be pestering, he deeply loves affection. He will gently tuck his head under your hand or place a soft paw on you to ask for some love. If you're on the floor, he will gladly roll over to let anyone give him belly rubs.

Outdoor Adventures & Playtime

Puff is always ready for an adventure and walks well on the leash, though he can get a bit exuberant when he's excited to get going! Once he burns off that initial energy, he becomes highly handler-focused.

He is a loyal boy who prefers to be wherever you are. If he is out in the yard, he’d rather hang out with you than be left alone. On occasion, he’ll initiate a quick game by bringing you a rope for tug-of-war or dropping a ball at your feet to toss around.
